Koko Black's, Claremont

Last month my sister and I went to Koko Black’s Salon. This salon is the heart of Claremont attractions with its classic designs that drew your attentions so we decided to indulge ourselves with some chocolates. When we went in, the salon ambiances were authentic, the design were unique and classy. It does makes you feel like you are in Europe.

The other side of entrances were filled with chocolate selections on their glass display. If the inside seats were full you can chose to sit outside whilst enjoying your chocolate and looking at the clothing stores.

What I love most is when you stand inside and you will see all sorts of nicely make chocolates that make you feel like trying it on every single ones. Everything in here is just chocolates.

An opened displayed of chocolate making, allows you to see how they make the chocolate. This is awesome and it just draws your attentions them.

Look at the counters the chocolatier is making more  ...... Yumm…..

This is the sides where they sell chocolates for gift and takeaways. The wrappings were classic and classy. Definitely makes it a good gift for yourself or others if you have no idea what to buy. Chocolate would be the best choice.

This salon seems to be run by all females. The staffs were friendly and approachable if you have any queries about the menu.

The black and white contrast with sketches of leaves and animal at the top of the wall somehow makes the salon seems modern in way.

Koko's Autumn Menu

The chocolate cake was rich but not sweet and the chocolate Florentines were unique to me because this is the first time I have ever tasted it. It seems like chocolate biscuits but not really a biscuits because it has blended with almonds, pistachios and cranberries by making it crunchier and it is a good dessert to go with coffee.

Chocolate Florentines- with almonds, pistachios and cranberries.

Flourless Chocolate Cake - spotted with dark cherries

Iced Chocolate
The iced chocolate is absolutely rich and fabulous. You will indulge with the iced chocolate although I am not chocolate person but I love it.

Coffee Affogato- A double espresso shot poured over a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream

This is my first time trying this coffee with a combine of creamy cold ice cream that melts it in the coffee as you eat it. It is delicious and one of the most wonderful dessert. I wish it could be a bit more.
