First Birthday In Sydney

My First Birthday celebration in Sydney, with a coffee birthday cake and a little gift from my buddies. I was surprised that my buddies brought me a cake during our tutorial because we have just known each other not long ago and having someone remembering and celebrating birthday with you is the amazing things that had ever happened to me.

As far as I remembered, I don’t celebrate my birthday as I grew older because my parents were always busy with work and birthday celebration eventually vanished.
The only things that I remember was mum always give me cash to buy a birthday cake for myself. After I have brought the cake, I normally have the cake first instead of waiting for my parents to be home to have the cake with me because it would pass my bedtime.

To me birthday cake is just like my best friend and best gift; it doesn’t matter if I am eating it alone or with friends or family but It means we shared the joy to celebrate this special occasion.

Sydney (Nostalgia Moment)

Today, I was looking at my old hard drive and I found some old photos that were taken, when I was living in Sydney. I thought I had lost these photos but it was hiding in a folder, such a nostalgia moment. It has been 5 years since I have left and moved to a small city, settling down with my life.

Looking at these photos, I found happiness, laughter, fun and friendships in everyone’s facial expressions. I have lots of fun and laughter with them because the friendships were real and down to earth. Although, many have moved after graduating, opening a new chapter of lives, some stayed and worked, some moved to other places or countries for better choices and life and some chose to stay close with their families or loved ones. We all have different choices moving towards different directions, as we were older. As for me, I moved back to the place that I first came to do my studies, a place that I hate but I chose to come back to build my things up from there.

Sometimes I do wonder am I making the right choices of my life. Although, life is full of ups and down, the one thing that I have never regretted doing was to bring my family back.

FUN, LAUGHTER, HAPPINESS
The only things that never changed is the photo that captured every moments of our lives.

Lastly, I want to thanks all the friends that I knew and met when I was in Sydney. I knew that I have not been good at contacting people because moving to Sydney was a crossing path for me for heals. I have the wonderful times and felt as part big family when living there. You have again brought me the light of what true friendships are but all good times will always end at some point just like the bad ones does end too.
Thank you for being my friend.
