Christmas Twilight Hawkers Markets + Christmas In summertime

Christmas Twilight Hawkers Markets @ Forrest Place, Murray Streets Perth, 14 December 2012

I have always wanted to go to the Twilight Hawkers Markets but it’s always either of us is busy with something else.   At last, we finally have our time because I have booked our air tickets late and we will be leaving on the 21st December 2012.

I finally visit the hawkers markets and there were plenty of stalls and cuisine from all over the globe. It was hard to make up my mind what to eat first because the queues were piling up as you think longer.

Spiral spud stick ( its potatoes not chicken)
This spiral stick has caught my attentions because many were eating it. Instead of wondering what it was, I asked my sister to look for it and we found this stall called Spiral Spud Stick.

At first, I thought it was chicken stick but then we found out that it was potatoes. I had a laughed after I have tasted it.

 I thought its Chicken Roll.

The Lindt's Chocolate Café , Sydney

The Lindt’s Chocolate café have fantastic menu ranging from chocolate cakes, chocolate drinks, and chocolates desserts (chocolates cheesecake) to chocolates waffles.

I love the richness of Lindt’s Chocolates, it’s my all-time favourites. The café was always the great spot for me meeting up with friends, colleagues, or even Birthday celebrations although the coffee was not strong to my liking but I love the ambiance surrounding and the smell of the chocolates.

If you have not been there, it’s worth checking it out and have a cup of hot chocolate.

Memories In Sydney

I was surprised that I have found more photos of myself when I was in Sydney but these photos were from my friend’s camera as they were taken during meeting up such as gatherings, Birthday celebrations or catching up with each other’s. It was a pity that I did not brought a camera with me when I was studying here but most of the memories remain in my heart.

I have lots of fun and laughter when I was here, the food that I ate, restaurants that I have visited, I would say it was the best experience that I ever had because there were so many things to explore in Sydney.

Darling Harbour, New South Wales

The food here were awesome but I cannot really remembered which restaurant it belongs but it was at Darling Harbour, and that whole area were full restaurants. They have different varieties of foods for you to choose.

From memory, I love this garlic bread, as most garlic bread is just bread with garlic but this was different, in fact, it was crunchy. Absolutely loving it

First Birthday In Sydney

My First Birthday celebration in Sydney, with a coffee birthday cake and a little gift from my buddies. I was surprised that my buddies brought me a cake during our tutorial because we have just known each other not long ago and having someone remembering and celebrating birthday with you is the amazing things that had ever happened to me.

As far as I remembered, I don’t celebrate my birthday as I grew older because my parents were always busy with work and birthday celebration eventually vanished.
The only things that I remember was mum always give me cash to buy a birthday cake for myself. After I have brought the cake, I normally have the cake first instead of waiting for my parents to be home to have the cake with me because it would pass my bedtime.

To me birthday cake is just like my best friend and best gift; it doesn’t matter if I am eating it alone or with friends or family but It means we shared the joy to celebrate this special occasion.

Sydney (Nostalgia Moment)

Today, I was looking at my old hard drive and I found some old photos that were taken, when I was living in Sydney. I thought I had lost these photos but it was hiding in a folder, such a nostalgia moment. It has been 5 years since I have left and moved to a small city, settling down with my life.

Looking at these photos, I found happiness, laughter, fun and friendships in everyone’s facial expressions. I have lots of fun and laughter with them because the friendships were real and down to earth. Although, many have moved after graduating, opening a new chapter of lives, some stayed and worked, some moved to other places or countries for better choices and life and some chose to stay close with their families or loved ones. We all have different choices moving towards different directions, as we were older. As for me, I moved back to the place that I first came to do my studies, a place that I hate but I chose to come back to build my things up from there.

Sometimes I do wonder am I making the right choices of my life. Although, life is full of ups and down, the one thing that I have never regretted doing was to bring my family back.

FUN, LAUGHTER, HAPPINESS
The only things that never changed is the photo that captured every moments of our lives.

Lastly, I want to thanks all the friends that I knew and met when I was in Sydney. I knew that I have not been good at contacting people because moving to Sydney was a crossing path for me for heals. I have the wonderful times and felt as part big family when living there. You have again brought me the light of what true friendships are but all good times will always end at some point just like the bad ones does end too.
Thank you for being my friend.

FOUR Months Holidays starting from NOW !

Finally, I am on my 4 months break after having long and dreadful months that I have been through with all the assignments and exams due after one another, whilst coping with work. Now it’s all done and dusted. Party starts from now onwards.

However, my poor little sister is sitting for her final high school exam in two weeks’ time. Hope she do well this year with flying colours. Finally yet importantly, I brought her some Snack BOOSTS for her munchies during the night. It’s everybody favourite “CHOCOLATES”.

Hotdog and Hot Chocolate!

Time files, its already September, I am counting down to December for my long holiday break. Can’t wait for December to come at least I won’t have to cook for sometimes. Whenever, it comes to brekkie, lunch or dinner, I always have trouble thinking of what to cook but today my sister helped me make hotdog burger. I have not had that for a long time it might be good to have some for lunch.

Although the hotdog burger might not be, appealing but taste awesome because I have added lots of caramelised onions, mustard and tomatoes sauces.
In addition, I have brought can of Lindt milk chocolate to go with my hotdog burger. The Lindt milk chocolate was good, you just have to add a few spoon of chocolate on your mug and warm milk over it and it’s done. It is worth trying it.

OMG, I just felt so sinful because I am trying to go on diet but I cannot resist of not having my hot chocolate so I will just blame on the weather because it has been cold lately and I need some hot drinks to warm me up.
