Beautiful things that exist in this World - Suspended Coffees

This picture touched me and this is the story of offering coffee for the less fortunate. I have never thought that this would exist in such a competitive world. As far as I know people were so busy with their lives, work and completing with others for better survival in their jobs but this little humanity still exist in some part of our lives and I like to share this story with all the readers.

This heart-warming story was taken from Facebook which shared by someone.

This story will warm you better than a coffee in a cold winter day!

We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we're approaching our table two people come in and they go to
the counter: 'Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended' They pay for their order, take the two and leave. I ask my friend: "What are those 'suspended' coffees?" My friend: "Wait for it and you will see." Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four 'suspended'. While I still wonder what's the deal with those 'suspended' coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square infront of the cafe. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in through the door and kindly asks 'Do you have a suspended coffee ?' It's simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm beverage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwich or a whole meal. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have such cafes or even grocery stores in every town where the less fortunate will find hope and support ? If you own a business why don't you offer it to your clients... I am sure many of them will like it.

Trips Back Home 2012 December 21

After a long period of 4 months dwelling infinitely in my world, it is time to updating what I have done for the missing months. Firstly, I am sorry for not updating my blog for such a long time because I have limited access to the internet and time is just not enough for me but this is the best holidays I ever enjoyed.

It is always exciting when I knew I am going home for Chinese New Year’s (CNY) because I missed Mum’s cooking and nothing taste the same when you order the same dishes outside. A home-cooked food just makes you feel like home when you tasted it.

In 2012, December 21, early morning, we were up early and had ourselves dressed up, whilst calling for taxi to Perth International Airport. Suddenly, my sister told me that she passed her high school exams and she was excited that she would be bringing this good news back home. As Dad and Mum will be delighted to receive this news because she is youngest in the family and now she is going to Uni.

Starting our 5 hours trip home, with non-stop in flight’s service entertainments. As for me, I started planning what I should be doing first when I arrived in Singapore. Although, it always never came out the way, it is but still it is good to have a plan of what I want and what I want to buy.
